Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Product/UX Design
- 2+ concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web and mobile interfaces
- 2+ years managing stakeholders directly
- Strong visual design portfolio
- Experience designing complex enterprise software, data-intensive platforms, or workforce management tools
- Ability to work autonomously from initial research through high-fidelity delivery
- Comfortable leveraging AI-assisted tools like Claude Code alongside Figma
- Ability to balance execution speed with deep user empathy
Responsibilities
- Define the experiences for Oscar’s users, enabling a wide array of use cases.
- Become an expert on the product’s users and their journeys, advocating their needs and pain points.
- Own the design process and partner closely with cross-functional peers to drive clarity and alignment.
- Collaborate with other product designers with feedback and contributions to the design team.
- Perform user research and usability testing to generate actionable insights.
- Design visually compelling experiences and contribute to the Oscar design language system (Anatomy).
- Bring the Oscar brand to life in product experiences.
