Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or hospital operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge gained through direct hospital experience or informatics practice.
- Practical experience configuring and optimizing EHR clinical workflows like Epic or Cerner.
- Understanding of hospital operations, patient flow, order management, and clinical documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Stable internet connection (at least 5 Mbps up/down) and reliable home office setup.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during PST business hours.
- Preferably hold 2 of: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or 3cx Basic Certified Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders and recommend technology-enabled clinical solutions.
- Analyze current-state clinical workflows to identify inefficiencies and design future-state optimizations.
- Support workflow configurations across EHR platforms including Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and athenahealth.
- Manage integration of LIS, RIS, and PACS with EHR systems.
- Act as liaison between clinical staff, IT engineering, and third-party vendors.
- Develop training materials and facilitate user adoption during change management.
- Document workflows and requirements for technical and clinical teams.
