Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT environments.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCC cloud platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, identity platforms, and Entra ID/Azure AD.
- Strong technical background in infrastructure (compute, storage, virtualization), networking, and security.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-platform technical issues.
- Understanding of government and regulated framework compliance (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, CJIS, HIPAA).
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or projects is preferred.
- Automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code experience is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Security+, CISSP) are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise technology solutions across on-premise infrastructure, cloud, applications, and security platforms.
- Architect Azure Government Community Cloud (GCC) services and manage Microsoft 365/Azure environments including identity and access management.
- Enforce Microsoft 365 governance frameworks, including tenant security, data classification, and lifecycle policies.
- Support technical compliance for government frameworks like NIST SP 800-53/800-171, FedRAMP, and CJIS.
- Lead complex migrations, tenant consolidations, and hybrid integrations with minimal operational disruption.
- Act as a subject matter expert providing Tier 3/4 support and root-cause analysis for complex technical incidents.
- Mentor junior staff and create/maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
