Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Openness to innovation and AI tools to improve processes.
- 2 or 4-year college degree preferred.
- 1 or more years of relevant experience in medical collections, physician/hospital operations, or AR Follow-up preferred.
- Knowledge of claims review and analysis preferred.
- Working knowledge of revenue cycle, medical terminology, and insurance claim terminology preferred.
- Experience working with DDE Medicare system and payer websites preferred.
Responsibilities
- Examine denied and other non-paid claims to determine the reason for discrepancies.
- Communicate directly with payers to follow up on outstanding claims.
- File technical and clinical appeals to resolve payment variances and ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Identify trends and address root causes of issues in the A/R process.
- Document all activity accurately in the client's host system or tracking system.
