Requirements
- CA, CPA or ACCA equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a Record to Report or General Ledger function, preferably in an MNC.
- Hands-on experience with month-end close and operational accounting.
- Working knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Experience with regulatory filings including TDS, Withholding tax, GST, and Companies Act.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting of transactions and perform GL and bank reconciliations.
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare year-end financial statements in accordance with Ind AS.
- Participate in and manage internal and external audit procedures.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly flux reports with variance explanations.
- Lead resolution of accounting issues and provide cross-functional guidance.
- Develop and improve existing accounting processes and ERP system workflows.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to global accounting policies.
