Requirements
- Professional qualification: CA, CPA, or ACCA equivalent.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a Record to Report / GL function, preferably at an MNC.
- Hands-on experience with month-end close processes and operational accounting.
- Working knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Experience with TDS, Withholding tax, GST, Companies Act, and regulatory filings.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work proactively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting of transactions and perform GL and bank reconciliations.
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Conduct month, quarter, and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare year-end financial statements as per Ind AS.
- Manage and participate in internal and external audit procedures.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly flux reports to explain variances.
- Lead resolution of accounting issues and provide cross-functional guidance.
- Develop and improve existing processes and ERP system workflows.
- Ensure global accounting policies and internal procedures are followed.
