Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an analytics, data, or finance-operations role.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large-dataset manipulation, reconciliation).
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience reconciling data across systems and investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for data accuracy.
- Ability to navigate imperfect data and adjust to a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Clear communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with healthcare data (medical or pharmacy claims, accounts receivable) (nice to have).
- Familiarity with billing, revenue operations, or accounts-receivable processes (nice to have).
- Experience building reporting or dashboards in a BI tool such as Looker or Tableau (nice to have).
- Exposure to Google BigQuery, dbt, or similar data-warehouse tooling (nice to have).
- Python or scripting experience (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Reconcile and validate client billing data across multiple internal systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Build repeatable data-quality checks, reconciliations, and documentation that strengthen billing processes and controls.
- Partner directly with the Client Group to support timely, accurate client billing and to answer their most pressing data questions.
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analyses that surface billing trends, risks, and anomalies.
- Drive down client billing friction through process improvement, better data flows, and automation.
- Collaborate across Product Analytics, the Client Group, Finance, and Engineering to understand data sources and improve the systems that feed billing.
- Operate within an agile framework, prioritizing effectively as needs and priorities shift.
