- Experience
- At least 2 of the last 5 years in a primary care or virtual primary care setting
Requirements
- Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in a primary care or virtual primary care setting
- Active state license in either CA, NY or DC
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a minimum of 15 state licenses
- Passion for human-centered primary care
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Adaptability and flexibility to evolve models of virtual care delivery
Responsibilities
- Treat patients via telehealth visits, including video visit appointments, supporting a panel and message-based care
- Manage patients with a broad array of patient needs virtually, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
- Adopt standard work and clinical protocols for evidence-based clinical care
- Participate in continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership via daily huddles
- Provide collaborative oversight of 4-8 NP or PA colleagues
