Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence.
- Healthcare industry experience or senior-level experience in analytics strategy/governance.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
- Proficiency with modern BI platforms such as Tableau.
- Familiarity with data architecture principles and UML.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of HIPAA considerations and data privacy.
- Familiarity with web analytics and digital marketing measurement.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools in analytical workflows.
- Strong business judgment and stakeholder management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary analytics point of contact for an assigned business unit.
- Define and maintain business metrics and KPIs while ensuring data quality.
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant data practices and collaborate on data requirements.
- Design and contribute to the analytics layer using dbt and AI-assisted tools.
- Create technical requirements and documentation using frameworks like UML.
- Review code and maintain the dbt Semantic Layer as a trusted source of truth.
- Develop user-friendly dashboards and generate actionable insights through storytelling.
