Requirements
- 8+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
- Experience in a capital-intensive, operationally complex business such as mining, manufacturing, aerospace, or energy.
- Proven experience managing small, efficient teams in high-growth, dynamic environments.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to align finance with operational needs.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and deploying finance technology platforms.
- Advanced Excel financial modeling skills.
- Direct experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and maintain high standards of accountability.
- Strong narrative-building and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to exploration field operations and mine development sites.
Responsibilities
- Own cash forecasting including quarterly and annual spend predictions by working with leaders across the company.
- Develop analytical models to inform decision-making and identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Produce clear, actionable reporting that translates financial data into usable information.
- Build and maintain a single source of truth for financial data, partnering with accounting and data teams.
- Lead the business justification process and ensure efficient capital allocation across programs.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to help teams manage spend and course-correct as necessary.
- Assess, select, and design FP&A systems and tools, including custom-built or third-party solutions.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, setting high standards for the organization.
