Requirements
- Deep understanding of Kademlia DHT.
- Knowledge of distributed indexing and research literature (e.g., skip graphs, prefix hash trees, m-LIGHT, locality sensitive hashing).
- Expertise in distributed databases and CRDTs.
- Strong background in P2P networking: TCP/IP, transport-layer connection, multiplexing, NAT traversal, and encryption.
- Familiarity with classical IR topics and search engine architecture (recall/precision, ranking, lexical/semantic search, inverted indices).
- Experience in network protocol testing, evaluation, and optimization.
- Ability to write high performance, highly concurrent networking code.
- Familiarity with the Holepunch stack: hyperdht, hyperswarm, hypercore, hyperbee, hyperdrive, udx-native.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop a next-gen stack for resilient, decentralized search.
- Architect peer-to-peer systems without centralized indices.
- Build self-organizing, unstoppable search engines for text, images, chats, and location data.
- Develop high-performance, highly concurrent networking code.
- Optimize and evaluate network protocols.
