Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Technical Program Manager in an agile B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize across competing inputs and defend priorities with clear reasoning.
- Ability to spot blockers and escalate them effectively.
- Technical literacy: ability to read API specs and reason about engineering tradeoffs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and structured approach to backlog management.
- Collaborative, low-ego team player.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and API integrations is required.
- Experience in IT Asset Management, ITSM, or adjacent enterprise IT is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the engineering team backlog with a mix of features, customer escalations, technical debt, and bug fixes.
- Identify and resolve technical, organizational, or cross-team blockers to ensure delivery flow.
- Run engineering ceremonies including daily stand-up, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Engineers to translate solutions into user stories, acceptance criteria, and a sequenced delivery plan.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Support to triage and scope customer escalations.
- Set delivery expectations and provide regular updates on shipping status and risks.
- Maintain a trust-based relationship with the engineering team to ensure focus and protection from churn.
