Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of professional IT experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience supporting application security, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps.
- Expertise in static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) application security testing.
- Experience with software composition analysis (SCA) and container/dependency security.
- Proven experience integrating security controls and tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing utility applications, scripts, dashboards, or API-based integrations.
- Proficiency in vulnerability management workflows, including triage and remediation tracking.
- Knowledge of application security frameworks (Zero Trust, NIST, CISA, CIS, OWASP).
- Ability to provide remediation guidance for secure coding practices.
- Strong collaborative skills for working with development, security, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform application security testing and vulnerability assessments on web apps, APIs, services, and containers.
- Support automated security scanning within CI/CD pipelines and configure associated tools.
- Document, track, and validate vulnerabilities through to remediation.
- Provide technical guidance on secure coding and remediation to development teams.
- Support DevSecOps tool integration and automation, including implementing security gates.
- Develop proof-of-concept secure reference implementations and security utility applications.
- Monitor alignment with Zero Trust, NIST, CISA, and CIS security frameworks.
- Maintain security assessment data and operational metrics for reporting.
