Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong working understanding of GAAP.
- Hands-on experience across AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Experience in a high-volume transactional environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Ramp, and Stripe Billing is a plus.
- Experience with SaaS or subscription-based business models is a plus.
- Experience using AI or automation tools for accounting processes is a plus.
- CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including vendor onboarding, invoice coding, and payment runs.
- Handle accounts receivable processes such as invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up.
- Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for cash, prepaids, accruals, and payment processors.
- Prepare and post journal entries for monthly and quarterly financial closes.
- Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules to ensure GAAP compliance.
- Partner with the Controller on close timelines, flux analysis, and audit requests.
- Identify and implement manual process improvements using automation and AI tools.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations on billing and payment inquiries.
