Requirements
- 2+ years of experience owning logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations in a DTC or ecommerce environment.
- Hands-on demand planning experience, including owning SKU-level forecasting and reorder points.
- Direct experience managing US-based 3PLs and fulfillment warehouses, including rate negotiation and SLA enforcement.
- Daily working command of Shopify for order management and reporting.
- Proven shipping cost optimization skills through carrier negotiation and service-level decision-making.
- Experience auditing and reconciling freight and 3PL invoices.
- Sourcing fluency sufficient to plan around lead times and production cycles.
- Data discipline, specifically building reporting and reconciliation in spreadsheets without relying on ERP/WMS.
- Reliable availability during US or EU business hours.
Responsibilities
- Maintain full visibility and control over Shopify orders, including tracking status and flagging exceptions.
- Forecast demand by SKU and set reorder points to manage inventory levels.
- Manage US-based 3PL and fulfillment warehouse relationships, negotiating rates and enforcing SLAs.
- Optimize shipping costs through carrier selection, service-level trade-offs, and packaging efficiency.
- Reconcile freight, carrier, and 3PL invoices to identify and recover billing discrepancies.
