Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI across development and administration.
- 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise BI and data warehouse environments.
- 5+ years of experience with SSAS Tabular and SSRS.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Service and gateways.
- Experience with Azure AD, service principals, permissions, and access governance.
- Advanced automation skills using PowerShell and Power Automate.
- Extensive experience designing and developing complex semantic models.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures and Power BI Dataflows.
- Demonstrated experience executing Power BI tenant-to-tenant migrations.
- Strong SQL skills including performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience working with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Responsibilities
- Manage the installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, and lifecycle of enterprise BI platforms.
- Administer Power BI Service, Power BI Gateways, SSAS Tabular, and SSRS environments.
- Design and maintain scalable semantic models and SSAS Tabular models.
- Develop and support Power BI datasets, dashboards, and paginated reports for various audiences.
- Integrate BI solutions with Azure Data Lakes/Lakehouses and Power BI Dataflows.
- Lead Power BI tenant-to-tenant migration initiatives and dependencies.
- Develop PowerShell and Power Automate solutions for automation, monitoring, and administration.
- Define and promote BI standards, governance frameworks, and development best practices.
- Mentor team members and collaborate across security, infrastructure, and business teams.
