Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in nonprofit fundraising, major gifts, or philanthropy linked to finance, education, or leadership development.
- 3+ years building, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven track record in sourcing, closing, and stewarding major gifts.
- Experience building systems, teams, and processes to scale fundraising efforts.
- Ability to operate in fast-moving, deadline-driven, high-empowerment environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to set and execute a fundraising or revenue strategy with data-driven decision-making.
- Comfort working on a fully-remote team.
- Ability to travel up to 10-20% of the time for off-sites and donor meetings.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision, goals, and operating cadence for individual fundraising and volunteer engagement.
- Manage a portfolio of HNW and UHNW donors, building relationships to secure major gifts.
- Build and run a fundraising operating system including KPIs, dashboards, and pipeline reviews.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team of fundraisers and revenue operations staff.
- Deploy CEO and Board members strategically to help close 6- and 7-figure gifts.
- Establish processes for automated or low-touch mid-tier and monthly giving.
