Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building scalable, data-driven backend systems and APIs.
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role, leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong proficiency in server-side programming (Node.js).
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS).
- Strong understanding of system design, data architecture, and microservices or modular monoliths.
- Skilled in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Experience with event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka, SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ).
- Experienced with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Solid experience with cloud-native architecture using AWS.
- Understanding of software design principles such as SOLID and DRY with SaaS, multi-tenancy applications.
- Experience with Agile Scrum, JIRA, and CICD models using GitHub.
- Ability to triage and resolve incidents.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to build and maintain the user experience, accessibility, and development feasibility.
- Design and implement innovative solutions for data and content presentation across platforms.
- Maintain brand standards across websites and digital spaces.
- Contribute to engineering excellence including automated unit testing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on project design and implementation.
- Debug software components and identify code defects for remediation.
- Assist in automating deployments to development and other environments.
