Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an engineer or ability to perform at an advanced level.
- Experience in shipping polished, bug-free Android features quickly.
- Proficiency in testing code using frameworks like JUnit, MockK, and Roborazzi.
- Strong self-motivation and flexibility to improve various app areas from UI components to analytics.
- Experience with Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
- Familiarity with networking stacks like OkHttp, Retrofit, and Apollo GraphQL.
- Knowledge of UI architecture best practices such as MVI, Coroutines, Mavericks, and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with modularization and dependency injection via Gradle and Metro.
- Commitment to mentoring junior engineers.
- Aptitude for using AI-assisted coding tools to challenge and improve workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve the Android stack including networking, analytics, and experimental frameworks.
- Contribute to the modular app structure and testing infrastructure.
- Build and refine features for the main feed and post creation tools.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture.
- Actively use AI tools like Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Glean within the development workflow.
