Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, product development, or related technical roles.
- Hands-on full-stack development expertise (frontend frameworks, backend, REST/GraphQL APIs, databases).
- Strong knowledge of modern development frameworks, cloud platforms, system architecture, Git, and CI/CD.
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform).
- Experience performing build-versus-buy assessments and vendor evaluations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, automation, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience working with data across multiple enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and business functions.
- Experience mentoring engineers or early-career technologists.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and validation of prototypes, proofs of concept, and pilot solutions.
- Translate research objectives and business challenges into scalable technical architectures, experiments, and prototype plans.
- Build full-stack prototypes using modern frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Evaluate emerging technologies for business applicability, integration, and strategic fit.
- Lead build-versus-buy assessments, vendor evaluations, and technology recommendations.
- Identify high-impact opportunities for R&D investment and prioritize innovation pipelines.
- Synthesize experimentation results into clear recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
- Incorporate AI/ML and automation into prototypes and support transition plans to production.
