Requirements
- 5+ years of professional development experience with Elixir (hard requirement).
- Strong backend fundamentals: API design, data modeling, SQL, and service reliability.
- Daily demonstrated use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in a production workflow.
- Ability to evaluate, identify logic/security errors, and maintain AI-generated code.
- Strong system design instincts for scalability and failure handling.
- Experience with peer code reviews, unit testing, and TDD.
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Experience being on an on-call rotation and handling production issues.
- Clear, empathetic communication skills for collaboration and technical articulation.
- Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to drive work from conception to production.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of critical product areas within the Peek Pro operations management suite and booking flows.
- Improve overall system performance, security, and reliability.
- Design and operate complex agent orchestration systems.
- Develop patterns for human-agent collaboration.
- Ship real product features primarily through agent-assisted development in collaboration with human colleagues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Design, and Engineering.
