Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years in a Staff-level engineering role setting technical direction.
- Proven experience building production systems where LLMs took autonomous, multi-step actions against real data.
- Deep technical understanding of treating models as untrusted subsystems, including output constraints and independent verification.
- Demonstrated ability to detect and contain system failures and hallucinations in AI workflows.
- Experience in at least two of the following: production LLM/agent systems, temporal/provenance data modeling, high-fan-out integration reliability, multi-tenant enterprise identity, inference cost engineering, or complex domain modeling.
- Strong technical writing skills for influencing engineering, product, and security teams in a remote-first environment.
- Ability to adapt between architectural design, hands-on problem solving, and team leadership.
- Willingness to challenge existing architecture and standards with clear, credible reasoning.
Responsibilities
- Build evaluation harnesses that gate agent releases and establish golden sets for compliance.
- Develop regression suites assembled from production traces and drift detection systems.
- Design systems for state management and provenance to ensure audit compliance.
- Manage inference economics to ensure continuous monitoring remains viable at scale.
- Architect tenant isolation and enterprise identity solutions as the company moves upmarket.
- Model complex regulatory frameworks to enable efficient, extensible compliance support.
