Requirements
- Board-certified MD or DO Psychiatrist.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee (TN).
- Willingness to obtain and maintain licenses in additional states (starting in MA, NY, FL, and PA).
- Availability for 2-4 hours of clinical work per week.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a telemedicine environment.
- Experience within a startup or fast-paced environment preferred.
- Passion for student mental health care.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a collaborating physician for Tennessee-licensed PMHNPs in accordance with state regulations.
- Manage operational policies, clinical workflows, regulatory compliance, and chart review processes alongside the Director of Psychiatry.
- Conduct monthly chart reviews and patient chart audits for each collaborating PMHNP.
- Evaluate documentation, treatment plans, prescribing practices, and clinical interventions.
- Participate in monthly one-hour collaboration meetings and periodically facilitate these sessions.
- Host two in-person supervision meetings annually with the Tennessee PMHNP team.
- Provide 2-4 hours of direct psychiatric clinical care each week in MA, NY, FL, and PA.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat college students through telepsychiatry.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
