Requirements
- 5+ years building and maintaining complex full-stack systems.
- Experience in startup or high-ambiguity environments.
- Strong system design and product engineering fundamentals.
- Fluency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ownership of outcomes and product sense.
- Ability to persist through ambiguity and iterate quickly.
- Strong judgment in prioritizing effectively.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with SQL databases like Postgres.
- Familiarity with caching layers like Redis.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across mobile apps using Vue, TypeScript, and Capacitor.
- Develop scalable backend systems using Python, Flask, Postgres, and Redis.
- Contribute to architecture and technical direction for the product.
- Partner closely with Product and Design teams to scope and execute solutions.
- Break ambiguous problems into iterative, shippable components.
- Balance rapid shipping with long-term system maintainability.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.
