Requirements
- Production experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and webhooks.
- Strong React and/or Next.js proficiency.
- Strong modern JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills.
- Node.js or similar backend experience and solid API design chops.
- Comfort integrating third-party APIs.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub PR workflows.
- Track record of debugging production issues and building maintainable software.
- Experience with AI coding tools used as an accelerant with sound engineering judgment.
- Experience with subscription platforms like Recharge, Skio, or similar preferred.
- Experience with Cloudflare Workers or edge infrastructure preferred.
- Knowledge of ecommerce analytics tools like Amplitude, PostHog, or Elevar preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ecommerce experiences across Shopify and custom infrastructure.
- Develop backend services, integrations, and internal tools.
- Extend Cloudflare Workers and reverse-proxy/split-testing infrastructure.
- Support A/B testing and experimentation across the ecommerce funnel.
- Improve subscription experiences including portal flows, rebill logic, and retention features.
- Implement and validate tracking across experiments and analytics platforms.
- Own pre-launch QA and monitor high-impact releases.
