Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Solid experience developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL servers.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Strong experience with AWS services and Kubernetes-based container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, backend scalability, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Familiarity with healthcare security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST).
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work proactively and independently in a distributed team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable server-side components, APIs, and backend services.
- Build RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, business logic, database queries, and relational data models.
- Develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript and Node.js with deployments across AWS and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Apply strong security and engineering practices to support compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend performance, reliability, scalability, and observability.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code supported by unit and integration testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, implementation, code reviews, and continuous improvement using Jira and Confluence.
