Requirements
- 4-6 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Databricks.
- Strong proficiency in Apache Spark.
- Solid background in data-oriented programming and software development for DE.
- Experience with Azure services.
- Demonstrated ability in technical leadership and data processing architecture.
- Experience with GenAI for data engineering.
- Knowledge of CI/CD automation practices.
- Hands-on experience designing and optimizing data storage solutions (data lakes, data warehouses, distributed file systems).
- Proven working experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build data pipelines to ingest data from databases, APIs, or streaming platforms.
- Integrate and transform data to ensure compatibility with target models.
- Design and optimize data storage architectures including data lakes and data warehouses.
- Implement performance tuning, caching strategies, and indexing to enhance data retrieval speed.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their technical requirements.
- Train and mentor junior data engineers.
- Design and implement scalable data processing systems on the Azure platform.
