Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation
- Strong understanding of manual QA methods and testing practices, including regression testing
- Hands-on experience with test automation using Python and automation frameworks
- Proficiency in SQL, databases, and data validation
- Experience testing APIs
- Experience in data engineering workflows in Databricks, including Databricks Genie
- Experience working with containerized environments
- Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, scheduled regression testing, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory (plus)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- English proficiency at B1+ level or higher
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of three engineers working with Databricks to support the quality of data engineering solutions
- Design and execute manual and automated tests for system functionality and data workflows
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and test automation frameworks
- Validate data and system behavior using SQL, databases, and API testing
- Perform scheduled regression testing and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Document test results, report defects, and communicate findings to the team
