Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, business, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product quality and/or regulatory affairs within a consumer products environment.
- Proven ownership and implementation of a Quality Management System and product safety programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing Quality Assurance or Regulatory Affairs teams.
- Deep understanding of domestic and international regulatory compliance for consumer goods.
- Experience managing a global supplier base, including auditing and performance evaluation.
- Ability to define product quality standards, validation activities, and durability testing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using quality data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills with experience reporting to executive leadership.
- Experience managing departmental budgets and operational expenses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute overall quality and regulatory strategy, managing departmental objectives, budget, and expenses.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs team.
- Report quality, regulatory, and compliance performance to executive leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Experience.
- Implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System, policies, and documentation.
- Establish product quality standards, reliability requirements, and durability testing expectations.
- Manage regulatory requirements and safety programs for domestic and international consumer goods.
- Define supplier quality requirements, conduct audits, and drive corrective actions for contract manufacturers.
