Job Details

6+ years of product management experience, including managing products with an embedded service or operations component.
Proven experience owning products where the system includes both software and a human service operation.
Track record of redesigning labor-intensive workflows into automated or AI-assisted processes with measurable cost-per-unit improvement.
Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered document processing, extraction, or agentic automation features into production.
Experience modernizing or migrating workflows off legacy or acquired systems while maintaining operational continuity.
Experience building business cases that connect automation and unit economics to gross margin and pricing decisions.
Experience with document/data extraction, validation logic, or high-volume back-office and transaction processing.
Familiarity with utility billing or invoice processing is a plus.

Own the roadmap for normalizing and validating raw bill data delivered by Plug into clean, structured payables.
Partner with Operations leadership to map labor-intensive workflows, quantify costs/errors, and prioritize automation.
Define and drive adoption of AI-powered extraction, document processing, and agentic automation.
Own the roadmap for provider-specific tolerancing rules and exception-handling logic to reduce manual reviews.
Build business cases connecting automation investment to cost-per-bill-processed and margin improvements.
Plan and sequence the migration of processing workflows off legacy systems onto modern, automation-first tooling.
Ensure Processing reliably generates clean payables for the Payments team and minimize churn via data quality improvements.
