Requirements
- Technical background (software engineering experience or ability to read codebase and prototype).
- Fluency with LLM concepts (prompting, evals, retrieval, fine-tuning).
- Experience building B2B SaaS products in a regulated industry (fintech, insurtech, healthcare, or similar).
- Sharp customer research instincts and experience synthesizing qualitative signal.
- Data fluency (comfortable pulling dashboards and digging into numbers).
- Track record shipping in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs.
- Experience owning product metrics and using them to guide iteration.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for your area - discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration.
- Drive how we turn non-deterministic LLMs into reliable, mission-critical mortgage automation.
- Lead customer discovery with mortgage lenders, loan officers, and ops teams.
- Prototype and explore product ideas hands-on using AI coding tools.
- Craft well-structured product specs and acceptance criteria.
- Define success metrics for every major initiative and drive post-launch iteration.
- Act as the voice of the customer in technical architecture discussions.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to shape positioning and influence deal cycles.
- Make the hard calls on scope to ship focused, well-executed products.
