Requirements
- Significant experience in design technology, UX engineering, front-end development, or design systems.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
- Experience with React and contemporary front-end tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to build sophisticated prototypes, interactive UI, or production-quality front-end components.
- Experience contributing to or evolving a design system, component library, or shared UI framework.
- Strong understanding of how design language, interaction design, and front-end implementation intersect.
- Ability to independently own large, complex projects while collaborating across multiple teams.
- Experience identifying workflow inefficiencies and building pragmatic tools or automation.
- Fluency in accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Build high-fidelity prototypes, interaction models, and front-end explorations to evaluate design concepts.
- Create and evolve reusable components, patterns, and implementation approaches for product consistency.
- Partner with designers and engineers to translate design intent into scalable, accessible, and maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to the technical evolution of the design system, including APIs, patterns, and design-to-code workflows.
- Build or improve tools, automations, and documentation to enhance design system adoption.
- Identify and address gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities across product surfaces.
- Ensure system work accounts for accessibility, localization, responsiveness, and performance.
- Share knowledge through documentation, demos, and design reviews.
