Requirements
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
- Pre-sales experience is required.
- Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts.
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
- Superior knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
- Proficiency in Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
- Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and networking.
- Understanding of Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, and Provisioning Automation.
- BS in CS, EE or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lead and contribute to RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
Responsibilities
- Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer’s business and decision making.
- Connect technology solutions, including the Pure Storage portfolio, to measurable business outcomes.
- Partner with account managers and channel partners to create strategy and drive net new business.
- Lead technical presentations, evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
- Capture customer requirements and translate them into innovative solutions.
- Author responses to RFI & RFPs.
- Liaise with product and technical marketing to produce technical whitepapers and presentations.
