Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Engineering, Biology, Geology, or related discipline.
- 0-3+ years of professional experience in consulting or industry.
- Technical and scientific knowledge to understand and evaluate environmental impact from client operations, laboratory analytical results, and field reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to successfully multi-task and problem-solve while maintaining quality and managing time.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative work ethic.
- Familiarity with environmental programs such as Stormwater, SPCC, Hazardous Waste, and minor source air permitting is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Prepare environmental permit applications and reports for client projects, facilities, and operations.
- Manage environmental compliance data and complete accurate, timely reports for wastewater, stormwater, and air emission permits.
- Write and update facility plans, including stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) and spill prevention, control and countermeasure (SPCC) plans.
- Navigate state and federal permitting and reporting platforms.
- Research and review environmental regulations at the federal, state and local levels.
- Engage in client interaction and relationship development through onsite and virtual meetings.
