Requirements
- 2+ years of experience editing short-form vertical video for social platforms.
- Demonstrated experience editing paid social ads (Meta, TikTok, or YouTube) with an understanding of hook-led structure and retention.
- Strong fluency in at least one professional editing suite: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Pro.
- Working knowledge of AI editing tools such as Descript, auto-captioning apps, and AI audio enhancement tools.
- Experience editing UGC into polished, authentic content.
- Advanced captioning skills, including precise timing and styling.
- Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and retention strategies for short-form content.
- Professional-level English proficiency.
- Availability to work U.S. business hours.
- Willingness to learn and implement FDA marketing compliance basics for health advertising.
Responsibilities
- Edit 12–16 short-form educational videos per month from creator footage for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Cut 8–15 paid ad variations per month for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, focusing on hook-led, conversion-focused structures.
- Produce multiple ad variants for systematic creative testing, including diverse hooks and CTAs.
- Edit UGC submissions into authentic, cohesive narratives within compliance bounds.
- Use AI tools strategically for captioning, transcript-based editing, and B-roll generation while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain brand standards and implement feedback from compliance reviewers across multiple revision rounds.
- Stay current on trends in health and wellness content and paid social media.
