Experience: 5+ years

Requirements

5+ years of direct, hands-on Florida experience filing residential property tax appeals.
Personal experience filing or arguing petitions before a Florida VAB, or adjudicating them as a special magistrate.
Deep knowledge of Florida Chapter 194 and DOR uniform rules 12D-9 and 12D-10.
Familiarity with county-level operational differences between volume counties like Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.
Understanding of the 25-day filing window, TRIM notice timing, and §194.014 partial-payment requirements.
Experience with evidence exchange windows and special magistrate hearing processes.
Must not be currently advising another company building consumer property tax appeal software.
Florida-based residency strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Review product builds and provide advisory feedback on usability and regulatory compliance.
Pressure-test filing workflows against Florida Value Adjustment Board (VAB) processes and Chapter 194 statutes.
Provide guidance on county-level variations in Property Appraiser and VAB processes across Florida.
Consult on the technical mechanics of TRIM notices, DR-486 forms, and partial-payment requirements.
Advise on evidence exchange windows, comparable selection, and winning hearing arguments.
