Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in platform, infrastructure, reliability engineering, or DevSecOps.
- At least 1 year of production experience with at least 2 agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor).
- Proven experience building and shipping production code in Python.
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Deep familiarity with AWS cloud-native infrastructure, including KMS, IAM, and EKS.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and production-grade security configuration.
- Experience with GitOps deployment patterns, specifically ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, or Kustomize.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including version control, code review, testing, and CI/CD.
- Solid foundation in reliability engineering (capacity planning, SLO development, incident management).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate Lumin's security fabric engineered for reliability and scale across hundreds of environments.
- Build and maintain agentic AI workflows using tools like Claude Code to automate security platform engineering tasks.
- Build and operate security telemetry, log analytics, and observability infrastructure.
- Design and implement deployment workflows using GitOps patterns (ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Kustomize) to manage security infrastructure across AWS.
- Write and maintain production-quality Python applications and tooling for platform operations.
- Secure and operate Kubernetes workloads in EKS, configuring RBAC, network policies, and deployment safeguards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for security infrastructure services.
- Provide engineering support during security incidents in coordination with Security Operations.
