Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline design, building, and onboarding.
- Experience with DevOps-oriented culture and CI/CD.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (strongly preferred).
- Ability and desire to take product/project ownership.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Evaluate, scope, and integrate new data sources.
- Partner with internal teams to translate data needs into pipeline requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures and data quality issues.
- Maintain core data models used by the broader team.
- Apply data governance standards, definitions, and sensitivity classifications.
- Evaluate and pilot new ETL/ELT tooling to improve onboarding and reliability.
