Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing technology products, particularly mobile or consumer products.
- Proven experience with 0-to-1 work such as early-stage startups or new product incubation.
- Strategic, business-minded thinker capable of market sizing and business modeling.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously and drive progress without a mandate.
- Experience with data-informed decision-making and running independent analysis.
- Proficiency in customer discovery, including planning and conducting interviews and research.
- Strong communication skills for distilling ambiguous findings for executive stakeholders.
- Intellectual honesty and comfort in recommending the cessation of projects.
- Familiarity with or willingness to master AI tools for research and rapid prototyping.
- Interest in or knowledge of youth sports and their associated communities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Strategy team to translate emerging business ideas into testable hypotheses.
- Run validation sprints with a designer, scoping work tightly for rapid execution.
- Size opportunities and pressure-test commercial viability through market and business analysis.
- Conduct customer discovery including surveys, interviews, and ethnographic research.
- Synthesize evidence into actionable go/no-go recommendations for executive leadership.
- Define the Studio's operational playbook, decision frameworks, and validation standards.
- Leverage AI tools for research synthesis, analysis, and prototyping.
