Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in information systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise-scale data pipelines.
- Experience developing in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift).
- Proficiency with ETL/ELT frameworks and design.
- Experience with AWS data and compute services.
- Knowledge of cloud messaging, storage services, and data orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable, secure, cloud-based data platforms including data lake, lakehouse, or data warehouse solutions.
- Design and execute data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines for near-real-time and batch workloads.
- Collaborate with architects to implement logical and physical data models in cloud platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS Redshift.
- Ensure alignment with federal security requirements, data governance policies, and application modernization initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including STTMs, data models, design, and testing documents.
- Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and CI/CD-enabled deployments.
