Requirements
- 5-7+ years of professional software development experience building backend services and APIs.
- Strong proficiency with Go, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and Linux-based development.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native systems in AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency with managed services such as S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and IAM.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience in production ownership, including deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Mentorship mindset with a focus on code reviews, pairing, and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor high-performance backend services and APIs using Go and Python.
- Build and maintain cloud-native services across AWS and GCP with a focus on reliability, scale, and secure production operations.
- Deliver features and enhancements through the full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Tackle complex software engineering problems in authentication, identity, and fraud prevention through threat-aware design.
- Integrate and consume AI/ML capabilities and risk models into scalable, observable services.
- Use observability and diagnostics tooling to troubleshoot production issues and improve system latency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Research, Product, and Core to deliver new authentication capabilities.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support the customer-facing authentication platform.
