Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing automated tests using TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies like React, Next.js, or Angular.
- Strong knowledge of UI automation, Testing Library, API testing, and contract testing.
- Experience testing backend services and microservices including Spring Boot and Maven.
- Experience with container-based integration testing and Testcontainers.
- Proven ability to build maintainable automation frameworks with CI/CD integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across UI, API, and data layers.
- Demonstrated ability to improve testing processes and establish quality standards.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing workflows.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Define automation testing strategies and plans for products, systems, and components.
- Design, develop, and execute scalable automation frameworks covering UI, API, and regression testing.
- Create comprehensive test cases addressing complex workflows, edge cases, and reliability requirements.
- Participate in system integration and validation activities to detect functional and performance issues.
- Establish quality-control practices for regression testing, test data management, and traceability.
- Investigate recurring issues across test coverage and environments to implement measurable improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to promote shift-left quality practices.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on test results, defect trends, and root-cause analysis.
- Mentor team members and drive technical leadership in testing standards.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate test creation, analysis, and defect triage.
