Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years of experience with end-to-end Agile manual and automated software testing.
- Hands-on experience developing and executing test scripts using Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with testing administration and defect-management tools, including Rational, CQ, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases and software testing across modern application environments.
- Strong understanding of functional testing, regression testing, automation, API testing, and software quality practices.
- Experience supporting continuous testing and working with tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of an Agile team.
- Strong multitasking, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, construct, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts covering application functionality, APIs, regression scenarios, security, performance, and usability.
- Apply established testing standards, methodologies, and business requirements to develop effective test approaches.
- Perform end-to-end testing across software releases, documenting results clearly and ensuring testing evidence is accurate.
- Track, document, investigate, and communicate defects using established defect-management and testing tools.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, sprint activities, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop functional test scripts using Java and JavaScript.
- Support test automation frameworks, test suite configuration, and continuous testing activities using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify quality risks and improve testing effectiveness.
- Use emerging AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate test-case creation.
