Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge.
- Typically 1 year of experience in automated laboratory and/or business systems.
- Must obtain and maintain Epic certification(s) within 6 months.
- Basic knowledge of computer operating platforms, applications, and network software.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for data analysis and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
- Ability to prepare, import, and manipulate information in spreadsheets and databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas in a business-friendly manner.
- Basic knowledge of project management software and methodologies.
- Knowledge of change management processes.
- Ability to perform work-related travel.
Responsibilities
- Work with users and leadership to develop or modify procedures due to Epic application workflow changes.
- Explain the functioning of assigned Epic applications and systems to users.
- Assist in the development and execution of unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Document current workflows, specifications, user manuals, and procedures.
- Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests.
- Participate in the maintenance, enhancement, and interface of assigned applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user problems.
- Assist in managing application version upgrades.
