Requirements
- 2-3 years of professional experience in structural corrugated materials and secondary packaging.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience with web-based tools.
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities with the ability to shift priorities easily.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%, sometimes on short notice.
- Capable of managing vendor and co-packer relationships.
- Experience in generating packaging specifications and conducting ship testing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver temporary promotional packaging and retail merchandise displays that withstand supply chain handling and ensure visual impact.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers, vendors, and factories while leading structural design.
- Design structurally sound, cost-effective pre-packed merchandise vehicles that convey product features and benefits.
- Manage formal ship testing to ensure the integrity of product, packaging, and assembly within the retail supply chain.
- Propose continuous improvements for existing POP vehicles through material and labor reduction.
- Support MDO Merchandising Specialists through the entire development process from concept to deployment.
