Requirements
- Practical, real-world experience working with AI systems in production environments.
- Significant experience leading software, platform, or data engineering organizations in a hands-on capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to own and evolve technical roadmaps across multiple product lines.
- Experience making architectural decisions for complex, data-driven systems.
- Proven ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing technical teams.
- Comfort getting into technical details to unblock teams or resolve critical issues.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms and distributed systems.
- Clear, direct communication style and ability to make decisive technical choices.
Responsibilities
- Represent the technical voice within the senior leadership team to guide business planning.
- Own and drive the technical roadmap across the core platform and emerging AI products.
- Lead architectural decisions for data and AI systems, balancing speed, reliability, and maintainability.
- Operate as a player-coach, staying involved in technical tradeoffs while empowering teams to execute.
- Lead and scale a cross-functional team of approximately 15 people.
- Research and evaluate cutting-edge technologies and practices for internal adoption.
- Serve as the public face of company technology, including networking and participating in sales meetings.
