Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical implementation, DevOps, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Keycloak.
- Experience deploying and managing applications at scale.
- Prior experience working within UK defence tech, SaaS, or cloud-based environments.
- Knowledge of UK government security frameworks and accreditation processes (e.g., JSP 604, Secure By Design).
- Multi-cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience using Git, JIRA, and standard project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with proficiency in AI tools like Claude and Gemini.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of technical implementations within the UK government and secure cloud environments, from initial scoping to live deployment.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for UK customers, managing expectations and resolving issues with minimal escalation.
- Provide hands-on Kubernetes expertise across deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in classified environments.
- Coordinate technical requirements across internal Product, Engineering, and Growth teams.
- Implement and improve deployment processes and tooling based on customer feedback.
- Contribute to the development of UK-specific deployment patterns and documentation.
