Requirements
- PMP certification (must be listed as active in the PMI registry).
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive project management consulting experience.
- Experience managing client-facing technical projects with high-volume coordination.
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI or Prince II.
- Understanding and experience with Layer 1 cabling and connectivity solutions.
- Understanding and experience with data center technologies including structured cabling, device rack, stack, and patching.
- Knowledge of data center and mission-critical environments operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple small to large IT projects through all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closing.
- Oversee data center migrations and cloud strategies utilizing industry best practices.
- Analyze project scope, funding limitations, and time frames to determine project delivery lifecycles.
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities.
- Define and implement project communication plans and risk assessment/mitigation plans.
- Manage project P&L, monitoring financials including revenue, costs, and margins to ensure profitability.
- Prepare project status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.
