Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong C# and .NET skills with solid experience in ASP.NET Core web applications.
- Strong TypeScript skills and experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred; React or Vue experience acceptable).
- Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, parameterization, and ORM usage.
- Experience with testing practices, including unit, integration, or end-to-end testing.
- Strong Git skills (branching, rebasing, clean commits).
- Ability to read and understand unfamiliar codebases.
- Clear written and spoken English proficiency.
- Genuine interest in security and building security knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Remediate security vulnerabilities across the stack, including dependency upgrades, code-level fixes, credential rotation, and container/Kubernetes hardening.
- Write unit and functional tests to prove fixes and ensure features continue to function correctly.
- Diagnose and drive major version upgrades to completion.
- Document findings and solutions to prevent recurring technical issues.
- Collaborate with security, QA, and other engineering teams to coordinate fixes and deployments.
- Identify and sequence credential rotations across multiple services.
- Provide technical justification when proposed fixes require architectural adjustments or identification of false positives.
- Implement automation for routine dependency updates.
