Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong C#/.NET skills with experience in ASP.NET Core.
- Strong TypeScript skills with experience in a modern frontend framework, preferably Angular (React or Vue also acceptable).
- Working knowledge of SQL including query writing, parameterization, and ORM/data access layers.
- Testing experience as a regular development practice, including unit testing and ideally integration or end-to-end testing.
- Strong Git skills including branching, rebasing, and managing pull requests.
- Comfortable reading and understanding unfamiliar codebases.
- Clear written and spoken English for daily collaboration.
- Genuine interest in security and building knowledge in this area.
Responsibilities
- Remediate security vulnerabilities across the stack including dependency upgrades, code-level fixes, and container/Kubernetes hardening.
- Write unit and functional tests for every fix to prove the vulnerability is addressed and verify continued feature performance.
- Own major version upgrades end to end, diagnosing build issues and driving resolution.
- Document findings and solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate across teams to gather context, coordinate reviews, and manage credential rotations.
- Make sound technical judgments regarding architectural fixes and false positives.
- Implement automation for continuous routine dependency updates.
